Open Data White Paper links

The White Paper announcement and relaunch of data.gov.uk on 28th June marked significant progress towards making open data the default for public sector information, with detailed policy commitments and a redesigned data.gov.uk site. However, campaigners were disappointed by the continuing status quo of trading funds charging for core reference data.

An explicit developer engagement strategy is new and different. Good to see Emer Coleman’s experience with the London Data Store being brought into government.
